Maybe we can have some envy in Summer. If many of us are all Tom, then I'm sure some of us are curious of how Summer can be happy without a true commitment. I sometimes myself would want to be a person like Summer, because until that day where she saw that french romance movie, she was happy with just a friend. Sure she wasn't as happy as she was when she fell in love but, she didn't know how that felt at the time. And if she did, she wouldn't be happy at all.

I think he had a chance with her...when they first started sleeping together...in the flashbacks most of the days during the 100's seemed to be generally happy times for a couple months...then I think when the newness of their relationship was over it was pretty obvious to Summer that they were two really different people as far as their personalities go...they had some similar movie and music and pop culture tastes but not much else. She definitely was interested in a friends with benefits relationship with Tom and he was looking for much more.

I don't think he did. It was Summer just having fun and being an "adult" as I like to call it. Everyone has intentions when they hook up with someone. Her's was clearly about having fun. I wish every woman in my love life was like Summer. Sigh*

I'm from Sweden, just like IKEA. ;) It was probably the word "flygel", that is the swedish word for a grand piano (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/P.... He didn't pronounce it right, though! But swedish is a hard language to pronounce if you're speaking English. ;)
